Remember when movies were silent?
Some day they will say the same thing about websites. Adding voice and sound to a website makes it more personal, involving and generally a nicer place to visit.
After casting the brand voice for NAB, we ensured they used him across all potential audio ‘touch’ points. The result was that that the voice on the ad which drove you to the website, was also the voice which greeted you when you got there.
Once again, the distinctive brand voice we cast for the advertising is heard when you visit the website, injecting personality to an otherwise boring environment.
1995 is where it all began with Eardrum’s first website. We struggled to find anyone brave (stupid) enough to build it the way we wanted. But the team that took it on were rewarded with the British Interactive Award for innovation.
